The Firefly
Bright, sparkling, twinkling Your manliness attracts me near, Bluish gentleness with a smile, I dance around you with a smear, Your radiant heat warm yet away a mile, Like a tikling bird I dance the dance Tinikling.
The awe mind that has blossomed, Round and round I try to come closer, You brighten the whole room with light, Wish that you would never die down like Caesar, I will be the oil for you to burn bright, Your liking for me indeed very seasoned.
Yellow the color that I desire, Untamed lust in me screaming joyously, The dance of glee rejoicing with pain, Closer I get to you more I hurt me noiselessly, This wild seducing dance I know has no gain, My love kills me yet I dance knowing thou art fire.
Sweet is the tortures of love, Meek I am without your love dear, I swain in pain for my dance never attracts, Unsuccessful is mine love I part with a tear, Wind plays and bends you towards me, but bitter facts, I know my day has come to an end as meek as a dove.
Love, I know thee well and your thoughts, But I can’t throw away this newfound love for you, Awaiting the first touch and kiss, I dance around again and again focusing you, Here I come into your world forcing a kiss, I dig a grave for myself with your thoughts.
Here I lay peacefully, In your arms eyeing your bluish eyes, For I know there is no love but pity in it, Wishing a joyous dance of glory with thee in my next birth…
